today was a long and hectic day. let's try to make it relatively short and coherent...

woke up at 9 to take the dog to the vet. got back at 1050.
stayed around, ate lunch, watched spirited away, and finished at 120.
left my house at 130 to pick up wenchin, rachel and jason.
went to the bart and barted up to berkeley where we took a small break at wenchin's apartment and then walked to jeanne/ming/heidi/helen's place after we joined up with lisa.
we collected money for sushi house, and then went off to the rose garden.
rose garden was only being occupied by a wedding reception.
we hung out with some pasta, fruit salad, and food while we waited for jeanne to get to the park...
jeanne was pretty surprised...she did have her suspicions when bryan called ming and said "hi, it's bryan." of course, this was after bryan said that he was calling his mom.
jason and i got glomped when the simpson's dvd sets came out of the paper bag. yes, winner!! gary needs to get glomped too.
we then watched the sun go down from the top of the rose garden, which was pretty cool. as scott put it, it's like "the fires of mount doom!"
then we returned some stuff to jeanne/ming/heidi/helen's place, and then with connie, set out to soda hall to help her with HKN fliers.

the most interesting moment had to be when we (me, wen, connie, rachel and jason ) went into Cory Hall, and went to the basement/first floor, and we were walking around and conversation went:

me: it's awfully lonely and scary in here...
wen: yeah....there's nobody here...
connie: yeah...
rachel: it's like something out of a high school horror slasher flick...
wen: *makes squealy noises*
/me turns around.
me: uhh....where's jason?
wen: oh my god! he's picking us off one by one!!

and then we all shared in a good laugh...when jason appeared from around the corner

i guess it's probably not as funny to the readers, but it was damn funny to us. maybe it was a "you had to be there" moment.

well, i'm sleepy, tired, and have stuff to do tomorrow...so shut-eye it is!
